At Antonia's we maintain our students so they can work on our own clients, work with each other, or be recommended to trusted partner salons. We are a highly trusted centre — so no worries about jobs after you graduate.
Our hands-on practical skilling programs ensure students gain real market skills and start earning income within 60 days.

We stretch what little we have across many eager hands — hairdressing tools like dryers, clippers, combs and wig stands; manicure & pedicure sets like foot spas and nail kits; and facial/beauty materials like steamers and skincare kits. Every extra tool means one more girl gets a real turn to practice.
Antonia's currently runs from a single room. Every term more girls join us wanting to learn, and the space gets more congested — we simply need a bigger home for our training.
Our students are often taken out to serve clients directly — bridal work, door-to-door services. Reliable transport is a constant hustle, and sometimes the money for it just isn't there, yet we never want to turn away a girl who is ready to work and learn.
We give bursaries to girls who cannot pay in full — single mothers, orphans, school dropouts, girls abandoned by partners — but our bursary fund is small compared to how many need it.
With more support we could open a bigger training centre and reach more girls across Uganda and East Africa — not just Kimanya. Every contribution moves us closer to that.

Our mission focuses heavily on equipping the girl child with practical, income-generating skills. Through our bursary schemes and flexible budget programs, every ambitious student can learn, build self-reliance, and launch a successful career in beauty and entrepreneurship.

Many of our students arrive with nothing but courage: girls abandoned by men, single mothers, others who stopped school in P7 for lack of fees, orphans, and girls whose parents simply could not afford to educate them at all.
